BiPAP Masks cleaning

Hi all

I have a total face mask from respironics but the cleaning of the mask is a
bit ambiguous, can anyone out there give me any suggestions on how they
clean the mask.

Anaesthetic Supplies PTY Ltd have released instructions entitled
Cleaning and Disinfection of Respironics Respiratory Masks in June 2002.

They comment that "the Respironics Total Full Face Mask can withstand
in excess of 10 cycles at 80 degrees C for 10 minutes". This pertains to
thermal disinfection and complies to Australian Standard AS 2945-1998.

Your respironics Rep may be able to give you more details. Your
sterilizing dept will have to have a system in place to track the mask.
