Dear All

Just wondering if anyone has  ICU specific pressure sore risk assessment tools and/or guidelines for prevention. In addition, how many units collect data, or are aware through other sources of  the incidence of pressures sores in their ICU's.

Dear all
There was a request regarding pressure sores and icu, several weeks ago. in my travels i have found this link. it is not specific to icu but some of the information still translates. eg why sitting in a chair bad for pac. Apparently there is a study going on in the UK NHS on pressure relieving mattresses, which will finish in the next year or so. Hope the information is helpful anyway.
