Updates and changes to the ICCMU Website

Website Changes

• Over the coming months there will be a number of signficant changes to the ICCMU Website. While the present content will remain the structure, including the colour scheme, will be changed. In addition to this there will be a number of technical changes to enable new functions to be added.

 Guidelines Library

• The contents of the Guidelines library have been supplied by the ICUs of NSW and Australia under the condition that they be used as REFERENCE material, and NOT AS specific patient care directives. These guidelines must be critically examined by users to ensure that the contents reflect the appropriate practice as it applies to their patients. Please refer to the full DISCLAIMER

• Today I have added a number of new/updated guidelines into the Guideline library. This can be identified by two labels, Update or NEW. Examples include:
  • Wound Assessment and Management (RNSH) NEW
  • Hovermatt (RNSH) NEW
  • Haemodynamic Monitoring (Westmead)
  • Invasive Pressure Monitoring (RNSH)
  • Admission & Discharge(Westmead) NEW

Education Library

• I have also added several new education packages including:
  • Pulmonary Artery Catheter RNSH NEW
  • Pharmacology RNSH NEW
