• The on-call registrar participates in ICU activities, MET and road retrieval roster and medical staff supervision.
• The roster is week-on, week-off. There is an active education program and good support from senior staff.
• Essential qualities include coherent communication, previous intensive care experience, intubation, ACLS, line and resuscitation skills.
